Things To Do In Moab

Hey ya’ll, so we have been traveling again for 5 weeks and this time we are exploring Utah! The First stop on our road trip is Moab; I’m going to share the top things we did during our week, so here we go.

After a long six hour drive we arrived at our campground, we stayed at Slickrock RV park which was wonderful. The people there were incredibly kind and friendly; there bathhouses and campsites were very well kept and nice. They had a pool which was amazing because it was about a 102 the entire time we were there.

We mountain biked a lot while we were here, it’s pretty easy to find good trails to bike no matter what your skill level. I recommend downloading the MTB project app to help find good trails. One of our favorite places that we mountain biked was Dead Horse point, this was probably one of my favorite places we went. The canyon was absolutely stunning, there are several trails around that area perfect for hiking or biking. Even if you don’t check out the trails, you can’t miss this view.

If you know me, you know I LOVE national parks; I love exploring them and learning all I can! We went to Canyonlands national park, it was beautiful. Canyonlands was not a very long day, we hiked up to the beautiful Mesa Arch and drove to Grand View point; but the views were incredible all over.

I absolutely LOVED Arches national park and we went back several days, bring lots of water and a camera (you are going to want it) I recommend you get out as early as you can, it gets hot very fast. We did lots of hikes that were less than a mile up to arches all throughout the park which was very fun.

Delicate Arch hike is a must, it’s about 2 miles round trip and it was beautiful. My favorite hike we did in Arches was Devils Garden trail; this is a long 8-mile loop; let me tell you it was not for the faint of heart. A lot of climbing over rocks and twisty trails. But it was beyond worth it, you see a total of 8 arches and many incredible views; I’d say the most beautiful arches are tucked back in this hike, definitely on my musts list.

After a long morning of hiking and mountain biking, we wanted to cool off and we found a little gem. Mill Creek is a short 1 mile hike up to a waterfall and swimming hole; super refreshing little oasis, and it was a blast. You have to cross water several times, so we wore Chacos and our swimsuits.

Our last day we did a Jett boat ride up the Colorado river which was so much fun. We used Jett Moab and they were excellent, ask for Jay he was an amazing guide. Our 2-hour tour was so fun, be prepared to get wet!!

We only ate out once and we went to Zax’s, which was amazing; their food was excellent as well as their service. I recommend their burgers but everything they had was delicious.

There is my must do list for Moab, we had an incredible time there. From mountain biking, to national parks, to just swimming back at our campground, we made some incredible memories there, and would definitely go back!

I hope you have an amazing day and know that you are fully known and fully loved. Please reach out if you need anything!
